Default html tags 

Html tags are : 

1.       Html tags/keywords surrounded by angle brackets like <html>.
2.       Html tags normally come in pairs with opening tag or start tag and ending tag or close tag.
3.       Html documents describe web-pages.
4.       Html documents contain html tags and plain text.
5.       Html documents are also called web-pages.
The purpose of web-browser(like IE or firefox) is to read html documents and display them as web-pages. The browser does not display the html tags, but uses the tags to interpret the content of the page.
An html document can be saved with the extension of .htm or .html.
An html document has got two sections.
1.    Html tags in Header section : used to provide
a.       A title for the webpage.
b.      To integrate css and java script.
c.       The auto redirection page with time.
d.      To specify the meta tags with keywords to make the site search engine enabled.
2.     Html tags in Body section :  to specify the visibled page content which will be displayed in the document rejend of the browser.

 Default Html Tags are :

<head>
</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>

    Very good explanation. Even beginners can understand very easily. I am sure one can master in HTML by doing small homework with the help of understanding. It will be little better if the version of HTML was also included. I would like to know more about the compatible tags of HTML5.
